As part of their Explore and Draw topic in art, Year 2 have been investigating their environment and gathering inspiration from the natural world around them. Leaves, twigs, stones, and other found objects sparked their creativity and helped them see everyday items in new ways.

Using their collections, pupils experimented with shape and pattern, transforming what they found into imaginative designs. This activity encouraged close observation, artistic expression, and a deeper appreciation of the world around them.
