Year 5 Excel in Vector Drawing with Creative Projects

In Computing this half term, Year 5 children have been learning about vector drawing. This week, they discovered that vector drawings are created on a computer or electronic device by combining lines and shapes to form a complete image.
The children then had the opportunity to create their own vector drawings of houses. They used various tools such as select, line, shape, and fill to bring their drawings to life with vibrant colours. Some children even challenged themselves by using colour gradients and positioning tools to layer shapes creatively.
As seen in the photographs, each child's vector drawing was unique, showcasing their ability to add interest and detail through imaginative use of the tools and software. Well done, Year 5, for your fantastic creativity and technical skills!
