As part of their Design and Technology learning, Year 2 have been busy creating their very own Ferris wheels. The children explored how to construct an axle to allow their wheels to rotate and designed their own unique pods to complete their models.

This hands-on project helped the children understand how simple mechanisms work, while also encouraging creativity and problem-solving. The finished Ferris wheels were fantastic, and the children were proud to see their designs come to life.
