Year 4 Investigates Seasonal Changes in Local Wildlife

This week, Year 4 continued their science enquiry into the living things in our local area. Building on their observations from the autumn term, the children explored the school grounds to identify flowering and non-flowering plants, as well as vertebrates and invertebrates, during summer.
By comparing the data collected across the two seasons, pupils are beginning to understand how wildlife in our environment changes throughout the year. Their curiosity and careful observations are helping them develop a deeper appreciation of the natural world around them.
Well done, Year 4, for your thoughtful and scientific approach to exploring nature!
