Year 3 Dives into the Stone Age with Creative Cave Making
.jpg)
Year 3 have been busy bringing history to life as part of their Stone Age topic. In a hands-on art and design project, the children have been constructing their own caves and decorating them with striking cave paintings.
Using chalk to experiment with texture and colour, pupils created artwork inspired by prehistoric markings, carefully covering the walls of their caves with symbols and scenes. Their imaginative designs are beginning to take shape — and they’re already looking fantastic.
This creative activity has helped Year 3 deepen their understanding of life in the Stone Age while developing their artistic skills in a fun and engaging way.
