In Year One you will learn and play during your time at school and we can't wait to be part of this with you. 

In Talk for Writing we will be reading a book called Monkey see, Monkey do. We will be using this to write a meeting tale and a letter.

In Reading lessons we will be looking at lots of stories, poems and information books.

In Maths lessons we will learn about place value and addition and subtraction. We will be using lots of equipment to help us.

Our Topic for Autumn term will be called Toys.

We will be learning all about toys, including those from the past. We will even be designing and making a moving puppet.
